The London based clothing label “was founded on the idea of being a focal point of video games pop culture.” I stumbled across Joystick Junkies on ASOS and the brand immediately caught my eye for looking like a gamer Urban Outfitters. The collection is composed of a myriad of iconic gaming t-shirts such as goofy Minecraft Mario and Tetris Smiley Face to classic arcade signs and a pin-up girl with a Zapper gun (£18.99-24.99). The arcade t-shirts stand out the most for me because I spent hours in the arcade as a kid and even as an adult. Thank you, Ground Kontrol!
While I enjoy the pop culture inspired t-shirts, I’d like to see more variety in apparel and accessories from Joystick Junkies. I think the clothing line has a lot of potential especially with the partnership with ASOS.
